Chicken Breast

  • ~300gr chicken (a breast) in strips
  • -1 cup of basmati rice
  • -2 tsp salt (not fully)
  • -1 tsp pepper
  • -4 cloves garlic
  • -half greek yogurt


Marinade :

on a bowl, mix yogurt salt + pepper, drop the chicken mix with your hands. cover the bowl with foil, put it on refrigerator for 1h or more.


Execution :

2 cups of water to pot, when boiled, drop 1 tsp salt mix. Start timer 15m

Drop the rice.


On the other kitchen eye, Wok, slowly slowly lay the chicken strips

after 5 minutes, change side of strips. Start dropping chopped garlic to strips, after 5m remove the Wok from kitchen.


when the rice timer occur, strain the rice, use 2tblsp Ghee at the pot you used before, drop back the rice, mix well for 45sec.


You can make a delicious chicken and mushroom dish in a pressure cooker with those ingredients. Here’s a simple recipe:

Ingredients:
  • 250g chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 150g mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil or butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: herbs (like thyme or rosemary), chicken broth or water (about 1 cup), and any additional seasonings you prefer

Instructions:
  • Sauté the Aromatics:
    • Turn on the pressure cooker and set it to the sauté function. Add the olive oil or butter.
    • Once hot, add the chopped onion and sauté for about 2-3 minutes until it becomes translucent.
    • Add the minced garlic and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
  • Brown the Chicken:
    • Add the chicken pieces to the pot. Season with salt and pepper. Sauté for about 5 minutes until the chicken is lightly browned.
  • Add Mushrooms:
    • Stir in the sliced mushrooms and cook for another 2-3 minutes until they start to soften.
  • Add Liquid:
    • If using, add the chicken broth or water to the pot. This will create the steam needed for pressure cooking. You can also add herbs or additional seasonings at this point.
  • Pressure Cook:
    • Close the lid of the pressure cooker and ensure the valve is set to sealing. Cook on high pressure for about 8-10 minutes.
    • Once the cooking time is up, allow the pressure to release naturally for about 5 minutes, then perform a quick release for any remaining pressure.
  • Serve:
    • Carefully open the lid and stir the contents. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
    • Serve hot, and enjoy your chicken and mushroom dish!
