Encryption 

TKIP is actually an older encryption protocol introduced with WPA to replace the very-insecure WEP encryption at the time. TKIP is quite similar to WEP encryption. TKIP is no longer considered secure, and is now deprecated. In other words, you shouldn’t be using it.

AES is a more secure encryption protocol introduced with WPA2.

Real Difference Between Wi-Fi 2.4 Ghz and 5 GHz

2.4 GHz Wi-Fi will support up to 450 Mbps or 600 Mbps, depending on the class of the router.

5 GHz Wi-Fi will support up to 1300 Mbps.

The longer waves used by the 2.4 GHz band are better suited to longer ranges and transmission through walls and solid objects.

The 5 GHz band is much less congested, which means you will likely get more stable connections. You’ll also see higher speeds. On the other hand, the shorter waves used by the 5 GHz band makes it less able to penetrate walls and solid objects.

Η σκληρή αλήθεια για το δίκτυο 5G

Θα χρειάζονται και πολύ πιο πυκνό δίκτυο αναμεταδοτών, ανά περίπου 10 σπίτια, καθιστώντας αναπόφευκτο τον «βομβαρδισμό» σχολείων, νοσοκομείων και άλλων εγκαταστάσεων μαζικής χρήσης.. Πάνω από δύο χιλιάδες επιστημονικές μελέτες έχουν εξετάσει τη σχέση ηλεκτρομαγνητικής ακτινοβολίας από αναμεταδότες κινητής τηλεφωνίας, routers, κινητά, τάμπλετ κι άλλες ασύρματες συσκευές με την υγεία μας. Προέκυψε ότι η ακτινοβολία είναι επιβλαβής ακόμα και σε χαμηλές και σύντομες εκθέσεις και επηρεάζει περισσότερο τα έμβρυα και τα παιδιά. Η ηλεκτρομαγνητική ακτινοβολία είναι καρκινογόνος, προκαλεί βλάβη στο DNA, επηρεάζει τη γονιμότητα και το ενδοκρινολογικό σύστημα και έχει σοβαρές νευρολογικές συνέπειες.

5G technology are safe, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) argues in a new proposal released on Thursday by its chairman.

The governments of Belgium, Netherlands, and Switzerland are investigating these concerns. There have also been protests against 5G rollouts across the world and some local councils in the US have blocked new 5G wireless cells from being deployed.
