Mentha Piperita Oil = Peppermint (aka Menta).
Eucalyptol = terpene found in rosemary, sage, basil, Wormwood, tea tree, camphor, daphne.
Thymol = is an organic compound, a component of the essential oils of many plants (mainly thyme and oregano species).

Toothpaste

Toothpaste may seem unimportant, but as a daily habit, it is important to health. Toothpaste can improve oral health by using ingredients that enhance the condition of the mouth. It comes in direct contact with the mouth, and ingredients can be absorbed into the bloodstream. Avoid ingredients like :
➜ sodium lauryl sulfate
➜ DEA
➜ aspartame
➜ propylene glycol
➜ microbeads
➜ fluoride

Flouride is in the water supply and its use has been questioned multiple times over. No need to have it in toothpaste—it is redundant. Drug store brands may have these ingredients as well as added sugar, mineral oils, colorants, detergents, and synthetic preservatives. The following are good ingredients to look for and their benefits:

➜ Sodium bicarbonate - good old baking soda! It neutralizes plaque acids preventing the build-up of plaque.
➜ Sea salt - encourages natural saliva production, keeping the gums and teeth strong. Also a good natural whitener for the teeth.
➜ Ratanhia - a plant ingredient that is a natural astringent, tonifying the gums and oral cavity
➜ Natural chalk - gently and thoroughly cleans the teeth.
➜ Silica - a natural component of teeth and bones, it also a mild abrasive to help remove plaque build-up.
➜ Calendula - very soothing to the mucous membranes and healing any sores or cracks in the mouth.
➜ Tea tree oil - a natural antiseptic, it helps clean and tonify the mouth.
➜ Myrrh - an astringent that acts on the mucosa and cleanses rotten gums. It can also be helpful for excessive salivation.
And of course ➜ xylitol-as described below

Choose a natural brand of toothpaste for the best maintenance of the teeth and mouth.

Xylitol – Secret Weapon for Dental Health?

2024 - Study Links Sugar Substitute (xylitol) to Increased Risk of Heart Attack and Stroke [2]

Caries is a bacteria in the mouth that acts on the sugar we eat and produces an acid that erodes tooth enamel, exposing the tooth to damage and decay. Caries is the most common reason for tooth decay. While we are not born with Caries bacteria in the mouth, most of us have acquired it by casual contact by the age of 18 months. Caries cannot feed on xylitol and thus is unable to thrive in the mouth. Studies have also shown that in the presence of xylitol, bacteria in the mouth and upper respiratory system lose their ability to adhere to the tissues, allowing the natural cleansing process to wash bacteria away. Xylitol is an alcohol sugar with 5 carbons that is used as a sweetener in everything from baked goods to gum and mints. It is naturally found in the body.

Since Xylitol tastes very much like sugar it can be used as a sugar substitute in baking, cooking, or even your coffee or tea. Using Xylitol is a great way to reduce your glycemic load (it has a GI rating of only 7 versus 68 for sucrose), improving blood sugar and reducing the inflammatory effects of sugar on the body. It has 40% fewer calories than sugar and can be used 1:1 in baking. Larger amounts of xylitol can cause gas and bloating in certain individuals, so you may want to use half xylitol and half raw sugar. src (mirror)

Other names : Wood Sugar Alcohol / Xylite / Eutris / Kannit / Klinit / Newtol / Xylite / Xyliton, it is also called 'wood or birch sugar', is harmless to teeth.

Has significant beneficial effects in the field of dental and oral hygiene (helps to repair damage to tooth enamel, reduces the formation of dental plaque, counteracts the formation of tooth decay, etc.) src

500ml - using 10gr, tested with 5gr is not proper

From the other side OpenAI advise :

Typically, a concentration of around 6-10% xylitol is used for mouthwash. Therefore, you would need around 14-23.6g of xylitol to dilute to 236ml of water at a 6-10% concentration.

If you want to prepare 500ml of mouthwash
At a 6% concentration, you would need 30g of xylitol to dilute
At a 10% concentration, you would need 50g of xylitol to dilute

Nighttime Bacteria: What Happens in Your Mouth While You Sleep

Have you ever wondered why your mouth is sometimes so sour first thing in the morning? This phenomenon, known colloquially as “morning breath,” happens because the bacteria in your mouth experience ideal conditions for reproduction at night. It’s not an attractive thought that you have an abundance of bacteria in your mouth in the morning, but that is the case. The result of that abundance is a sticky, filmy mouth and smelly gases that you perceive as morning breath.

What’s different about your mouth during the night? Mostly a lack of saliva. Your body automatically reduces its flow of saliva at night, but this means that bacteria is not continually being washed away the way it is during the day. Saliva is also high in oxygen, which directly kills some bacteria. src

Periodontitis solution is only Chlorhexidine

US - Chlorhexil 0,12% Toothpaste
https://intermed.com.gr/el/products/chlorhexil-012-toothpaste-long-use

In the United States, chlorhexidine is available only by prescription in 0.12% concentration for use twice a day.

Its use should be delayed for 30 minutes after toothbrushing.

Patients using chlorhexidine should be reevaluated every 6 months. src

Based on a working hypothesis of 0.12% and 0.2% CHX having equal plaque-preventing effects and 0.06% CHX having a comparatively less efficacy. src

Chlorhexidine is easily inactivated, it should be used 30 minutes after other dental products. It is deactivated by anionic compounds, including the anionic surfactants used in toothpaste. So patients should not rinse immediately after brushing. Furthermore, they must then avoid drinking, eating, and smoking for at least one hour after use.

Study published in 2006 discussed the cytotoxic effect of chlorhexidine on cells and cautioned against using it following scaling and root-planing procedures (such as irrigation) due to its damaging cells that aid in the healing process (such as fibroblasts). A different study stated that the higher concentration (≥ 0.04%) of chlorhexidine inhibits cell proliferation and, to a certain extent, affects cell morphology. The study concluded that 'the application of CHX in the post-surgical antiseptic treatment of the oral cavity should be limited'. src
