No need to do anything on REGISTRY or WORD macro options or install VSTO developer pack, as mentioned to this article…

The solution is to run the addon installer, came with Bi Installation (for x86 installer) @ :
JavaScript:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Oracle\BI Publisher\BI Publisher Desktop\DotNetInstallFiles\TBAddInSetup.msi

if still not appear to Word, enable DEVELOPER tab > COM Addins > Add >
JavaScript:
C:\Program Files(x86\Oracle USA\TbAddInSetup\TBAddIn.vsto

if you get "not valid" proceed with 2022Win10OfficEx64 notes

-------------

under
JavaScript:
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Oracle BI Publisher Desktop

there are these shortcuts
Enable or Disable Template Builder -> anytime you run this thinking that is enabled and asking you to disable #lol
Set Template Builder Language -> when run this getting #Translation file not found for locale: ''!#

once more, garbage by ORACLE, ofc!

ps (update 2022Win10OfficEx64 setup):
-TBAddInSetup64 needed 100% (sequence is run1 - say that already exist, uninstall it, rerun it install it (now you will see a new folder on PRG\Oracle USA)
-then open WORD, the Publisher TAB appears but the captions are weird yeah? because cannot found the language file, to fix that, close WORD, you have to :
run > 'Enable or Disable Template Builder ' asking you to disable the Templater, press the left button 2 times, application exits...
run > 'Set Template Builder Language' complain that the language file missing, close it
run again > 'Enable or Disable Template Builder ' now asking you to enable it for the current user, press again left button 2 times, application exits..
Word now has a proper TAB..

2022Win10OfficEx64 - to fix the add-in to appear to current user, under
C:\Program Files\Oracle\Oracle Analytics Publisher\Oracle Analytics Publisher Desktop\DotNetInstallFiles
run the TBAddUser.exe

Addin appears on EXCEL but not on WORD
  • User has to go to File > Options > Addins > on the bottom dropdown has to select 'Disabled Items' and press Go.
  • Choose the TBAddin and enable it. Restart the Word.
  • Now on Developer TAB > COM Addins > Check the Bi Publisher and press OK > Restart the Word.
